Terms & Conditions - GENERAL

On our website you are able to book our own excursions, which are organised by us. In the future we will also offer excursions, activities and other services that are organised by external providers. We have taken all reasonable care to make sure that everything advertised by us is provided by efficient and reputable businesses. These businesses follow local standards and requirements.

 

 

Before you book an excursion, activity, or services via our website, it is critically important to us that you fully understand what you’re booking before you commit. We have taken meticulous care to set out everything you need to know below, so that you can confidently and comfortably make your decision on the excursion you wish to embark upon.

 

 

Our Agreement With You sets out what you are legally entitled to expect from us when you book our own excursion, if you book through us an excursion from an external provider, please keep in mind that their own terms & conditions will apply. Therefore, we strongly advise that you read these terms and conditions carefully, before you make any booking arrangements with us, to see how they may affect your specific excursion plans.

 

 

Please note that our Agreement is governed by national legislation in the country where the excursion is being held. In the unlikely event of a conflict arising, we would like to remind you that the parties involved should submit and consent, expressly renouncing to any other jurisdiction, to the Courts of Law of the user’s place of residence.

You are given the ability to obtain excursion, activity, and services (hereinafter referred to as “excursions”), subject to the acceptance of these Booking Terms and, in accordance to the prices, rates and conditions of cancellation displayed at the moment of booking.

Before you book

We believe that it’s important for our customers to have all the necessary information about our Excursions so they can make an informed decision. Please take the time to read the Excursion information that is on the website, so that you book an Excursion that is suitable for you.

 

We strive to update our website with the latest information, but sometimes changes occur that we might not be aware of immediately. In case you find any discrepancies in our website information, please don’t hesitate to let us know right away.

Moreover, we highly recommend that you:

  • ensure the accuracy of your booking details, communicate any changes, and have proper insurance coverage for the Excursion(s) chosen (for example if you’re booking any activities that include extreme sports you need to have an appropriate insurance for it)
  • We also ask that you read through the Excursion information thoroughly before booking, especially noting any necessary previous experience or ability levels required (for example when booking any sports activities please double check the suggested or required level of advancement for the participants)
  • While we try to minimize any risks, please understand that some Excursions may carry an element of risk, and it’s your responsibility to decide whether it’s suitable for you and your party.
  • Lastly, please note that any minors taking an Excursion must be accompanied by an adult.
 

Excursion group sizes may vary. With our own excursions we guarantee groups from 6-18 people. For the free walking tours we guarantee groups 2-20. With external supplier the numbers can vary from 1 to 99.

 

Persons with Reduced Mobility should be aware that if the Excursion you select does not specifically indicate that it is geared towards their needs, then it may not be accessible for them.

PRICES

All prices listed on our website are accurate at the time of publishing, but please note that we reserve the right to modify any of these prices at our discretion. As sometimes we have some pretty attractive discounts, the price we may have offered you previously could potentially fluctuate over time. For this reason, we highly recommend that you book the Excursion you desire as soon as possible to ensure that the price remains the same.

 

We understand the importance of secure payment processing, which is why we accept Mastercard and Visa. When you make a payment on our website using your credit or debit card, the full quoted amount will be deducted. Our payment transactions are encrypted using a secure payment system that also ensures that your credit card details are never intercepted, and they are only revealed to the financial institutions required to process payment instructions from you. Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any bookings that we suspect to be fraudulent, and we will send a notification email to the address provided during booking.

 

Changes and/or cancellations

If you need to make changes or cancel your booking, simply contact us by  email (info@explorehuelvaalgarve.com) or call (also WhatsApp)  us at +34 610 81 59 64 and we’ll be happy to assist you. However, please note that if your booking is advertised as “non-refundable,” changes and cancellations will not be allowed. 

 

 

Please be aware that making changes to your booking may result in a change to the price of your excursion based on the current pricing at the time of the change. It is important to note that full refunds are only available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the published pick-up time if it is our own excursion, otherwise any refunds are subject to the terms of your agreement with the supplier.

 

In the event that you do not show up for your excursion, refunds are not available. While we will always strive to provide your excursion as booked, sometimes we may need to make changes to your booking after it has been made. We will keep you informed throughout the process and notify you of any changes as soon as possible. Please also note that excursion timings are subject to change and we recommend checking your ticket for the latest and most up-to-date information.

FORCE MAJEURE

In rare instances, we may need to alter or terminate your Excursion reservation due to unexpected major events beyond our influence, commonly referred to as force majeure. This encompasses incidents that couldn’t have been foreseen or avoided even with the utmost care, like political conflicts, war or the threat of it, riots, civil unrest, suspected or actual terrorist activity and its aftermath, border closures, industrial disputes (foreseen or present), technical issues with machinery, transportation or equipment, government involvement, natural and nuclear disasters, fires, epidemics, health risks and pandemics, overcrowded or closed airports, and extreme weather (including hurricanes) among similar situations.

 

We are committed to providing support and guidance in the unlikely event of any issues. Your Excursion booking is important to us and we will strive to ensure that your experience meets your expectations.

During the excursion

Please take your booking confirmation (it will be sent to you via e-mail or WhatApp) with you on the Excursion, it can be in a digital form on your form, you do not need to print it. Follow all instructions, guidance, and information provided by the Excursion provider, especially regarding your health and safety. The provider is there to assist you, so don’t hesitate to ask any questions or voice any concerns. If you’re not happy with your excursion, email us info@explorehuelvaalgarve.com within 28 days to have your complaint investigated. Be sure to include your excursion confirmation number and phone number. If you don’t report any problems to the Excursion supplier, or let us know while you’re on the trip, we may not be able to resolve your complaint appropriately.

 

 

We reserve the right to refuse service and terminate our relationship if your behavior is disruptive, damaging, or endangers others. Please be respectful and considerate of others during your Excursion. Note that transport companies have their own set of terms and conditions that apply to your journey which we rely on. If you have questions about these, we can provide a full copy for you.

PHOTOS & VIDEOS

Please remember that during our own excursions, your guide will be taking photos which will be send to you in a digital form within 72h counting from the end of the excursion. The photos will be digitally archived and stored for a period of 1 month after the date of the excursion. It is, therefore, the clients(s) responsibility to backup and stores their images. The copyright of the images is assigned to us, Explore Huelva & Algarve.  The client will be granted printing and duplication rights as standard. All digital negatives (computer files) remain our property. The client will be supplied with a copy of the edited digital negatives for their own non-commercial use as standard. We might use the photos or videos from the excursions on our website or social media profiles.  If you do not wish, you can ask in advance not to be filmed or recorded and / or inform us that you do not consent to have your photos / videos published on our website or social media pages. 

Privacy POLICY

For all the bookings we need your details. Your data will be handled with care by our staff. Your data will not be provided to third parties other than the party who will eventually carry out the services booked (external suppliers in case of excursions that are not  our own excursions). We retain the personal data – which is necessary for a booking – no longer than necessary for the purpose of processing and administration. Some of the data can be archived for statistical purposes.
